West Ham are preparing a shock loan to sign Paris Saint-Germain ace Gini Wijnaldum in January, according to a report by 90 minutes.

The 31-year-old midfielder has only secured 10 starts for PSG since joining Liverpool’s Ligue 1 side on a free transfer this summer.

The Dutch international with 85 caps made the PSG hierarchy aware that he is not satisfied with his current playing situation.

Earning £ 300,000 a week, Wijnaldum is currently a bit of a deadweight at Parc des Princes.

And it seems that PSG are looking for a way to save them playing time elsewhere.

West Ham offered Gini Wijnaldum

90 minutes claim PSG loaned the Dutchman to the Hammers for the remainder of the season.

Everton, Newcastle, Arsenal, Tottenham, Leicester and Aston Villa are believed to have also been offered the 31-year-old.

So we certainly won’t have things our way.

What an addition Wijnaldum would be for West Ham if we find a way to win the race for his signing.

The former Liverpool midfielder has exceptional technical abilities and he would give David Moyes a completely different option in the middle of the park.

PSG ace Gini Wijnaldum also has real energy and dynamism – two attributes Moyes absolutely adores.

The 31-year-old has proven during his stints with Liverpool and Newcastle just how good he is.

His experience of winning and playing at the highest level for such a long time would undoubtedly be of great help to us as we strive for success both nationally and on the continent.

The fact that he has a proven track record in the Premier League and internationally means he could have an instant impact for West Ham in January.

If Moyes manages to get Wijnaldum to London Stadium for the remainder of the season, our best four chances will improve dramatically.
